“Science. Close to People” is the motto of the 68th annu­al confer­ence of the German Asso­ci­a­tion for Medical Infor­mat­ics, Biom­e­try and Epidemi­ol­o­gy (GMDS e.V.). The confer­ence will be held from 09/17/2023 until 09/21/2023 in the inno­v­a­tive science city Heilbronn.

Take the oppor­tu­ni­ty to present your current research results to a broad profes­sion­al audi­ence and discuss them! Since inter­dis­ci­pli­nar­i­ty is a partic­u­lar strength of the GMDS, inter­dis­ci­pli­nary and inter­dis­ci­pli­nary contri­bu­tions of any kind — in English as well as in German — are espe­cial­ly welcome. 

The Lord Mayor of Heil­bronn, Harry Mergel, warm­ly welcomes all confer­ence guests in his welcoming address. The Pres­i­dent of Heil­bronn Univer­si­ty, Prof. Dr.-Ing. Oliv­er Lenzen, is also look­ing forward to an excit­ing, stimulating exchange of knowledge in his welcom­ing address.

The Medical Infor­mat­ics course, which is locat­ed at Heidel­berg Univer­si­ty and at Heil­bronn Univer­si­ty, will cele­brate its 50th anniver­sary in 2023 and will shape the confer­ence program.
