A very special band: The GMDS AllStars<\/em><\/h2>\n\n

The GMDS AllStars emerged in 2014 in G\u00f6ttin\u00adgen from a spon\u00adta\u00adneous mini-performance<\/strong> by Heinz Handels (vocals), Rain\u00ader R\u00f6hrig (drums) and Andreas Gold\u00adschmidt (elec\u00adtric guitar) at the GMDS annu\u00adal confer\u00adence. Equipped with equip\u00adment from anoth\u00ader band, they ventured into \u201cKnock\u00ading on Heaven\u2019s Door\u201d, which has since become their trade\u00admark. Inspired by this success, they decid\u00aded, togeth\u00ader with Beat\u00adrix Behrendt (elec\u00adtric bass) and Sebas\u00adt\u00adian Semler (piano), to perform as an open\u00ading band for the next annu\u00adal confer\u00adence. This is how the GMDS Allstars came into being.<\/p>\n\n

In terms of musi\u00adcal style, the GMDS AllStars are extreme\u00adly versa\u00adtile. Each band member brings his or her own pref\u00ader\u00adences and musi\u00adcal expe\u00adri\u00adence to the table, result\u00ading in a varied selec\u00adtion of songs. The current line-up of the band includes the musi\u00adcians Albrecht Zaiss (saxo\u00adphone), Andreas Gold\u00adschmidt (elec\u00adtric guitar and second voice), Heinz Handels (acoustic guitar and vocals\/first voice), Myri\u00adam Lipprandt (percus\u00adsion or drums), Rain\u00ader R\u00f6hrig (drums), Ulrich Sax (elec\u00adtric bass), Sebas\u00adt\u00adian Semler (keyboard and second voice) and Torben Hess (saxo\u00adphone), who is new to the ensemble.<\/p>\n\n

A special high\u00adlight is coming up: their perfor\u00admance in Heil\u00adbronn already marks their tenth perfor\u00admance.<\/strong> Due to the differ\u00adent places of resi\u00addence of the band members, it is unfor\u00adtu\u00adnate\u00adly not possi\u00adble to perform regu\u00adlar\u00adly outside the Annu\u00adal Meet\u00adings. There\u00adfore, their perfor\u00admances at the Annu\u00adal Meet\u00adings are unique oppor\u00adtu\u00adni\u00adties that they use with passion every time.<\/p>\n\n
